The first time he did this he scared the crap out of me! After about the 100th time my heart stopped racing. Boys will be boys...

Heart "Episode"

This week Fred gave us a scare with a heart "episode". In true Fred fashion he refuses to call it a heart "attack"! Luckily it was only a mild "episode" and he is feeling better now. The doctors however did find a large blood clot in his lungs that they are going to continue to monitor.

Dylan and Ava did their best to cheer PaPa up at the hospital. Dylan put on quite a show wearing Uncle Darren's hat!

After a few days at Balboa Navy Hospital Fred was able to head home. I think it only took him 2 days before he was back in the office! :)

Snail Wall

Dylan's favortie destination to walk to in the neighborhood is "snail wall". He one-by-one picks off all the snails on the wall, and there are always a ton of snails, and puts them all in his tricycle to bring home and show daddy. Daddy just loves Dylan bringing home all these snails into garden (not). :)

Brockton Villa

Our very favorite place for brunch in San Diego is Brockton Villa. You can't beat the view, or the famous "Coast Toast". This week the whole family made it out to enjoy :)

Neighborhood Greeter

Dylan loves pushing his chair right up to the fence and greeting everyone as they walk/jog/bike down the trail behind our house. So friendly!

Watching The Trucks & Tractors

Workers arrived today to take down the 2 giant trees blocking our ocean view. Dylan loved watching them work out the front windows! And yes, we were right there to catch him :)

C-Level

One of our favorite restaurants in San Diego is C-Level. The food is amazing and view of downtown is great! Dylan also loves watching all of the boats!

It's also right across the street from the airport, which is convenient for when we pick up mom at the airport. Welcome to San Diego Mom! Mom is town so she can watch Dylan while Dustin and I go on a little weekend getaway to Vegas. Yea! Vacation time for everyone :)
